This is an immersive experience at the Cambodia Elephant Sanctuary offers a variety of engaging and educational activities, allowing visitors to connect with these majestic creatures in a meaningful way.

Your experience begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel lobby, followed by a scenic drive directly to the sanctuary.
25–30 Minutes
Upon arrival, a knowledgeable guide will provide an informative introduction, sharing insights about the sanctuary, its mission, and the elephants under their care.
20 Minutes
Next, you’ll participate in preparing meals for the elephants, learning about their dietary needs and preferences.
15 Minutes
You’ll also prepare a special, nutrient-rich food designed to support the elephants’ digestive health, gaining a deeper understanding of their care.

The fun continues as you join the elephants for a mud bath, a playful and educational activity that highlights the importance of mud for their skin and well-being.
20–30 Minutes
After the mud bath, enjoy a refreshing bathing session with the elephants, helping to rinse off the mud while bonding with these gentle giants.

Can I cancel my tour?

What is dress code?
Bring normal daytime clothes and also a change of clothes to go swimming. Sandals are ok. Wear shoes or sandals into the water, it is muddy.
Where does the tour end?
The tour start in Siem Reap and finishes in Siem Reap and it will be ended at your hotel or you can ask our guide to drop you off someplace.
What should I bring with me?

Pum-Pum, Gigi and Homie 🐘 were such darlings 💕. Each had different personalities and it was a pleasure to meet them. We made rice balls of cooked rice, rice bran and bananas, which we fed to them. Then we had photo opportunities while they ate their veggies, two of them we happy to be bathed by us - but be prepared to get soaked! There are outdoor toilets and shower facilities. We then had delicious fresh watermelon and pineapple for ourselves. The pick up and drop off were great too. Thanks to all of the staff for such an enjoyable experience, and hospitality. Every elephant has her own story and charm. They respect the Elephants FIRST and require each tourist to respect the elephants. You do not ride them, you love them and touch them according to their boundaries. Please enjoy. And if they don’t want to bathe they don’t make them bathe which is beautiful. Every Elephant has their own respective nature and personality. It’s really a joy to just be around them and other elephant lovers. 5 stars. Will go again.
