Itinerary

Koh Ker Temple is located 130 Km away from Siem Reap town, and there is a temple called Beng Mealea that will combine with this tour. As know as Koh Ker was constructed during a period of internecine strife within the Angkorian and led by King Jayavarman IV. Koh Ker was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List on 17 September 2023 during the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Koh Ker Temple has 7 tier step pyramid that would not look out of place on the Yucatan Peninsula. The temple recently has a wooden walkway to the summit has improved access and safety.

Beng Mealea is another temple that stays along with Koh Ker Temple and combines with a tour together. This temple was built during the reign of King Suryavarman II and it is contemporary with Thoammanon Angkor Wat temple. The temple was designed as a consideration of the Golden Age of classical Khmer architecture and represents the high water mark of the Angkor empire.

Beng Mealea Temple is located in the jungle and about 80 Km away from Siem Reap town. There square measure picket walkways over a lot of venturesome areas however these don’t trim from Beng Mealea’s atmosphere. Creepers festoon the walls, and graven lintels lay buried beneath thick bryophyte and jungle growth. Square measures some excellent samples of Apsara carvings on the existing components of the temple, however, the great charm of Beng Mealea is its sense of ruined grandeur.
